West Midlands ICT Hub

West Midlands ICT Hub – Signpost for Industry …

The West Midlands now has a new Signpost for the ICT industry. The WM ICT Hub supports a number of Advantage West Midlands funded projects that are focused on the ICT Cluster. The WM ICT Hub focuses on the specific needs to enhance networking, innovation and skills with the result being economic benefits for businesses within the region. The WM ICT Hub will act as a signpost for enquiries and opportunities for West Midlands ICT businesses.

AWM believes that the West Midlands’ has the potential to become the “Digital Foundry of the World” and that by developing a Cluster of ICT businesses and partners it has the opportunity to restore economic advantage to the region.

The WM ICT Hub will provide a referral service on the ICT Cluster to any business or business support organization. The WM ICT Hub will also be a ‘shop window’ for the region’s ICT capabilities and initiatives providing support in order to create commercial opportunities for some 3,000 businesses operating within the ICT sector.
