Jo is most noted for her recent appearance in the hit TV show The Apprentice. Her professional background is in the motor industry where she held a number for senior management positions. She is the former Head of Training at MG Rover Group. Latterly, she has been working as a Management Consultant in the area of Equality and Diversity with major clients both in the public and private sector.

Laurence Bard, Director of Corporate Tax at Shaws

Laurence is Director of Corporate Tax at Shaws. Qualified as both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser, Laurence was a tax partner with one of the “Big Four” accountancy firms for over 15 years.
Before joining Shaws Laurence built up his own independent tax practice, specialising in the field of research and development tax credits for start-up and established companies, which has enabled them to recover cash and help them on their paths towards success and profitability. 

Adam McGiveron

Adam McGiveron, Partner at Martineau Johnson

Adam is a Partner in the Corporate Department at Martineau Johnson specialising in company matters including private equity investments, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. Adam regularly acts for companies and investors: recent transactions include acting for the company on the £12 million buy-out of Accura Holdings and acting for the venture capitalists on an £8 million investment in Covion Holdings.
