| | John Bailey, Pro-Vice Chancellor at Aston University John is Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Business Partnerships & Knowledge Transfer at Aston University, managing the commercial arm: the Business Partnership Unit. He is responsible for a team of 12 who cater for the needs of both internal and external clients.
John has been in senior management positions at Aston for a number of years having previously worked in industrial marketing for one of the major oil companies.

Originally trained as mechanical/production engineer, moving into IT as manufacturing software consultant before joining board of various SMEs, where she transformed company fortunes consistently winning business against multi-national competition. Her blend of engineering, technical and commercial skills enables her to communicate both technical and commercial arguments. Melanie is currently director of Adurasys.

Stephen is a Solicitor in the Corporate Department at Martineau Johnson specialising in company matters including private equity investments, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. Stephen regularly acts for companies and investors: recent transactions include acting for a national PR company on its admission to AIM and a US based acquirer in the £5.5m acquisition of a UK IT solutions company.

Michael is the Chairman and co-founder of the Crimson Group of companies. During the 1990’s he successfully built up a £40m group of IT and recruitment businesses before selling them on to a NYSE listed corporation in 1998. Michael now devotes most of his energies towards sharing his entrepreneurial knowledge and experience with the corporate world through the Flair Business Coaching Practice.
