As part of the R2i activities for entrepreneurs and start up companies in the West Midlands, E-Synergy is holding two Investment Readiness Workshops. The aim of these workshops is to give entrepreneurs a good understanding of what early stage investors are looking for in a company and to test out their proposition with real investors before going out to search for funds. E-Synergy is an investment company specialising in early stage technology investments with a portfolio of 14 companies. The workshops are given by a team of real investors and the one day event should give entrepreneurs the following: - A view of what investors are looking for from their investment
- An insight as to how investors assess proposals
- A chance to test their pitch
- An action plan to improve their proposal
Comments from previous E-Synergy workshops: “I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The quality of the specialists I worked with were excellent” Marcia Lazar F2IT “The workshops helped us look at Trampoline from an investor’s perspective and question some deep-seated assumptions. The results speak for themselves with the investor interest we are now getting” Charles Armstrong, Trampoline “Overall 10 out of 10. I gained some very useful insights about how others perceived my company. The main lesson was to focus on focus.” Rupert Cruise, Texchange The workshops will take place on Thursday 14 December 2006 at the Aston Science Park in Birmingham. |
