Synopsis
The Seminars for Success series identifies critical elements that a company will have to consider in order to drive sustainable business improvement and growth.

The events are extremely informative providing a powerful combination of personal development and networking, sponsored by a range of partners that wish to support the development and growth of businesses.

Matthew manages the hugely successful Marketing & Communications team, with responsibility for maximising external and internal awareness of Aston Science Park.  Matthew has over 7 years of ‘hands on’ marketing experience to date and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) specialising in Marketing, as well as an array of business and sales experience through his employment at Aston Science Park. His role involves actively promoting the park via liaison with the national media, tenants, sponsors and industry partners. Matthew is also responsible for the property lettings at the 65 acre campus park shared with Aston University which is home to over 120 businesses and excellent conference facilities.  Matthew is actively known for delivering the extremely popular ‘Seminars for Success’ series at Aston Science Park which attracts over 100 Midlands based businesses.

Glenn is an experienced member of the Aston Science Park Business Development team, and is responsible for leading the West Midlands ICT Hub initiative supporting the development of the ICT business community.  Previously, Glenn was responsible for the delivery of the Photonics Cluster (UK) technology network and prior to joining Aston Science Park, Glenn was a Park Director for Coventry University and also worked for Scottish Enterprise, Lothian and Edinburgh Enterprise.

Ben deals with all types of contentious and non-contentious employment issues and regularly participates in client training and seminars.  He has had a lot of experience as an advocate in Employment Tribunals. Ben provides commercial and practical solutions to clients on the full spectrum of employment issues including discrimination, performance and sickness management, disciplinary procedures, dismissals and redundancies.

Dr. Waqar Azmi OBE is a prominent and respected figure in the UK. He was the Government’s Chief Diversity Adviser based at the Cabinet Office with responsibility for diversity, leadership & talent, HR and people issues across the 565,000 strong Civil Service.. He sits on numerous top-level boards and committees and is listed in the Asian Power 100 list of the most influential Asians in the UK.  Before that he was managing director at one of the world’s largest recruitment solution firms, TMP/Monster Worldwide.
