The Hertfordshire Business Incubation Centre (HBIC) was established by Aston Science Park in 2003 to support the following Industry sectors:

* Aerospace and Defence

* Biotechnology

* Information Communication Technology (ICT)

With partners including GlaxoSmithKline, MBDA, EADS Astrium, Lloyds TSB Corporate, Ernst & Young, Aston Science Park, University of Hertfordshire, EEDA, Stevenage Borough Council and North Hertfordshire College, HBIC has a wealth of support from major market influences and a mature network of trusted relationships.

The Aston Science Park team were tasked with setting and driving the delivery of the initiative.
