Aston Science Park today opened the doors of its brand new and refurbished Conference Room at Faraday Wharf, to over 100 delegates, attending the sixth ‘Seminar for Success’ of the year, titled ‘Financial Strategy’.
The ‘Seminars for Success’ events, hosted and managed by Aston Science Park, identify critical elements that companies need to consider to drive business forward. These ‘need to know’ topics are then highlighted and addressed in a formal, business seminar.

The seminars provide a powerful combination of knowledge, personal development and networking with key players in the world of business. Typically the seminars attract owner managers or senior executives within West Midlands based businesses.

Networking at Seminars for Success Event

The ‘Financial Strategy’ seminar began with extensive networking over breakfast, followed by a welcome from Philip Lines, Finance Director for Aston Science Park. Steve Walker, CEO for Aston Reinvestment Trust chaired the event welcoming the excellent selection of speakers presenting at the seminar. Speakers included Dennis Camilleri, CEO, IVO Associates; Chris Labrey, Sales Director, ECS United Kingdom; Barry Stocks, BTG Tax Director of VAT and Indirect Tax Services and Pat Geraghty from Central England Business Angels.

Following the presentations, delegates continued to network over an early lunch, whilst visiting the exhibition stands on offer in the Faraday Wharf atrium.
