Park Chief Announces Entrepreneur Awards |

June 27, 2007 Trio land honours at entrepreneur awards Three of the South West's leading entrepreneurs have scooped top accolades at the regional final of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards.
Competing against 32 of the region's finest entrepreneurs, John Berkley of the Yeovil-based Berkeley Leisure Group was named Entrepreneur of the Year in the Entrepreneurial Spirit category, Tom Henderson of The Shelterbox Trust in Helston, Cornwall received the Social category award of not-for -profit organisations while Charles Wace of Twofour Group, based in Plymouth, took the title in the Technology and Communications category. Derek Harris, chairman of the judging panel and chief executive of Aston Science Park, said: "This year's winners displayed true entrepreneurial spirit and through hard work, innovation and determination, have built incredibly successful businesses." | |

The winners will now go through to the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year national finals held in London on October 1, at The Grosvenor House Hotel, to compete with the other regional award recipients from across the UK.
