Park welcomes apppointment |

13th July 2005 Aston Science Park’s Chief Executive Derek Harris has welcomed the appointment of Mohammed Zulfiquar as Vice Chairman of the Institute of Asian Businesses (IAB). Mohammed Zulfiquar recently met with Aston Science Park’s Chief Executive to discuss the future of the IAB’s technology community, recognising the significant contribution made by these companies to the regional economy. Mohammed Zulfiquar said: “I want our membership to take advantage of new technology developments and the Park is an ideal place to grow a technology-based business because of its supportive, high tech environment.”
Derek Harris, Chief Executive of Aston Science Park said: “I am extremely pleased with Mohammed Zulfiquar’s new role as Vice Chair. He is a high quality individual and his commercial and technology sector experience will prove invaluable to the IAB as the organisation moves to the next stage of its development.”
