Park's Hunter systems joins the UK's technology elite
Hunter Systems from Aston Science Park, has been certified with the Accredit UK Standard, which recognises the best technology suppliers in the country.
The Accredit UK standard is an independent quality mark that promotes trust in IT and helps suppliers prove their excellence. It proves to potential IT purchasers that companies holding the mark operate with appropriately skilled people, clearly defined processes, and that the company has a track record of meeting customers’ expectations.
Hunter Systems develops bespoke software solutions and is planning to use the Accredit UK standard to help grow its business. Hunter Systems also boasts an impressive client list from private and public sector organisations. Current projects include a payroll conversion project for Teesside University, and a stock and inventory management system for Green Cone, who provide environmental solutions to councils across the UK.
Managing director Neville Hunter, views Accredit UK as an invaluable addition to the IT industry, and one which will help all aspects of the company’s operation. “The certification shows that our company has clearly defined processes that are consistent and repeatable and gives confidence to our customers,” he said.
“As we are working increasingly with the public sector and plcs, holding the Accredit UK standard for software development and design, we will greatly enhance our ability to win more business both in the public sector and large corporates.”
The Accredit UK Assessor added: “Hunter Systems utilise their extensive experience of clients requirements in their chosen markets, to develop solutions that meet future needs, as well as the current needs of their customers.”
Vaughan Shayler, programme director for Accredit UK, said: “By using the Accredit UK standard, Hunter Systems is helping to make it easier for purchasers to feel confident to buy services from technology companies.”
