The Connect Midlands Investment Conference, which is being held on 21st November at the Nottingham Belfry, is a tried and tested formula. Connect Midlands boasts a glittering CV having successfully assisted hundreds of companies to raise over £80 million in investment since 2001. The not-for-profit organisation assists technology companies, provides access to information and aims to strengthen links between companies, investors and the academic community. The figures and the success of their flagship event speak for themselves. Isabell Majewsky, Director of Connect Midlands said ‘‘The region is blossoming in terms of innovation and that is why we are inviting investors from across the UK to listen to, question and engage with pre-selected Midlands based companies. We hope to build on the success of previous years by continuing to connect investors with quality businesses seeking investment.’ With only 18 spaces available presentation slots are highly sought after. Each company has ten minutes to present to investors and three hours are provided in the timetable to facilitate networking. The Connect Midlands Investment Conference is the premiere investment event for the region. Investors are prepared to travel as the presenting companies are high quality, have been coached and deliver polished presentations.
